Finding the row that has the minimum or maximum values

Screen Link:

if I use SELECT MIN(unemployment_rate), I get the minimum unemployment rate.
how do I print the major and even the whole row that corresponds with this unemployment rate?

so I know that xyz major has the minimum unemployment rate.

You will need the ORDER BY clause for this.

You can order the data based on the unemployment rate in ascending order using ORDER BY. And then, to just check the row values corresponding to the minimum unemployment_rate, you can add the LIMIT clause as LIMIT 1.

Since you are ordering the data in ascending order, adding that limit as 1, would only print out the row values corresponding to the lowest unemployment rate.

Let me know if that doesn’t help.
