Guided Project: Storytelling Data Visualization on Exchange Rates Ax1.Text issue

Screen Link: NA

My Code: fig, (ax1, ax2, ax3,ax4) = plt.subplots(nrows=4, ncols=1, figsize=(6,8))

axes = [ax1, ax2, ax3,ax4]
for ax in axes:
ax.plot(exchange_rates[‘Time’], exchange_rates[‘rolling_mean’],
color=’#b00b1e’, alpha=0.1)
ax.set_yticklabels()
ax.set_xticklabels()
ax.tick_params(bottom=0, left=0)
for location in [‘left’, ‘right’, ‘top’, ‘bottom’]:
ax.spines[location].set_visible(False)

ax1.plot(exchange_rates[‘Time’][:400], exchange_rates[‘rolling_mean’][:400],
color=’#b00b1e’, linewidth=2.5)

ax2.plot(exchange_rates[‘Time’][2350:2600], exchange_rates[‘rolling_mean’][2350:2600],
color=’#b00b1e’, linewidth=2.5)
ax3.plot(exchange_rates[‘Time’][3800:4300], exchange_rates[‘rolling_mean’][3800:4300],
color=’#b00b1e’, linewidth=2.5)
ax4.plot(exchange_rates[‘Time’][4900:5400], exchange_rates[‘rolling_mean’][4900:5400],
color=’#b00b1e’, linewidth=2.5)
ax1.text(2000, -0.15, ‘y2k & 2001 WTC Attack’, color=’#b00b1e’, size=174, weight=‘bold’)
ax1.text(2000,1.6, ‘Euro vs US Dollar durring world crisis’, size=174, weight=‘bold’)
ax1.text(2000,1.5, ‘Euro performs far worse in crisis durring world crisis’,size=12)
plt.show()

What I expected to happen:
I was expecting to see 4 different graph and its having different text.

What actually happened:
But when I add code ax1.text(), Text will be very small, if I keep text size = 174, it will be readable.
Graph is not visible.

Replace this line with the output/error

Hi @sanjay.lalwani3, if your graphs seem like disappearing, it might be related to the problem I outlined in this post:

Let me know if it helps.
