Hide or collapse cell

My Code:

What I expected to happen:

A ‘+’ to provide hide/collapse option

What actually happened:
Nothing

I dont see a hide/collapse option for the cells in Jupyter notebook. I tried to use View>Edit Metadata > and for edited collapse = ‘true’. Nothing changed for the cell. How do I do this? Otherwise I am always typing at the very bottom of my 29 inch screen:(. Also cell toolbar does not have “Tags” option.

Are you referring to the cell output? If so you can use toggle/toggle scrolling as suggested in this article.
