When I run command in sql shell, if I make a mistake, I have to exit the program and start all over. Very cumbersome, am I missing something?
For example, here I noticed I missed a comma, but I can’t find a way to go back to the previous line and fix it.
Thank you for your help !
Bash’s command-line editor (and sqlite shell) doesn’t support editing of continuation prompt lines, so it’s best to keep everything in one line separated by semicolons.
If you miss something in the query or want to delete something, you can’t go back and edit it, you have to start again unfortunately.
Hope this helps.
