I can't understand this line

I can’t understand the underlined line below because it sounds to me that Computer Science and Engineering degree categories are dominated by men while Biology and Math and Statistics are balanced.
Please, correct me if i am wrong.

When it says first to categories it is referring to its previous statement not charts
