Installing Anaconda on Chromebook

Hello! I just started on the Data Analyst in Python path, and finished the first few missions. I have been fighting with my system for hours trying to install Anaconda 3 (including Jupyter Notebook and Python 3) on my Lenovo Chromebook.

Because the Chromebook isn’t really Linux, it seems impossible. Has anyone been able to install the .sh file?

I’d hate to give up on the data analysis course since I can’t get this tool to work on my machine…

I’ve given up on Anaconda and tried Miniconda instead. This is the error message I’m getting in the terminal after trying to install it:

All the tutorials I can find online sound like this shouldn’t be a problem, so I’m not sure where to go from here.
