Installing Anaconda

After downloading and installing Anaconda 3.7 for Windows, there is no app to be found. Cant find the Navigator. Help please

Hi @petoorstanya,

Have you tried clicking on the Windows Start button on the bottom left of the screen and typing Anaconda?

If you added Anaconda to your Path environment variable then when you installed it, you can open up your command prompt and type conda. If it is installed it will open up an Anaconda Terminal.

Have you checked if it is installed under apps and features (type Apps & features into windows search bar)?

Have you checked inside your Users folder? C:\Users*user_profile_name*\Anaconda3

Have you tried reinstalling it?

Tried all of the above!

Hi @petoorstanya,

I would recommend you to reinstall Anaconda after uninstalling it using the technique mentioned below.

In the folder where you installed Anaconda (Example: C:\Users\username\Anaconda3 ) there should be an executable called Uninstall-Anaconda.exe . Double click on this file to start uninstall Anaconda.

For me, the uninstaller was in the path C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Continuum\Anaconda2 . Not sure why and how Continuum got appended. (Commenting as it may he helpful for someone in future) – HunterrJ
