Jupyter Notebook

Please help me with this error

Hi @hossamnabil2000

Welcome to Our Dataquest Community.

Go through the below answer, and It will help you to find out the encoding technique.

It actually raised another error

/Applications/anaconda3/lib/python3.7/encodings/cp1252.py in decode(self, input, final)
     21 class IncrementalDecoder(codecs.IncrementalDecoder):
     22     def decode(self, input, final=False):
---> 23         return codecs.charmap_decode(input,self.errors,decoding_table)[0]
     24
     25 class StreamWriter(Codec,codecs.StreamWriter):

UnicodeDecodeError: 'charmap' codec can't decode byte 0x9d in position 43: character maps to <undefined>

Can you please share the file you’re trying to open?

AppleStore.csv (818.0 KB)

I am unable to reproduce this.

Please reset your kernel and clear all outputs, then rerun this bit.

If you’re still getting that error, share your notebook and a clear screenshot of the whole notebook, please.

I did what you’ve said and it still gives the same thing. do you know which file I should be using? can you help me with which file to select to start the notebook?

The encoding should UTF-8. You’re using a correct file.

Please try again with UTF-8, share a similar screenshot and your notebook.
