Python Dictionaries and Frequency Tables - Screen 3/11

What’s the logic of increasing the dictionary value by 1??

Hello @mursuljamil

In this screen, you are creating a frequency table, which means how many times a particular data point has occurred.

You can see that, the initial value of each content rating key is set to 0, first. Every time, that particular content rating occurs when the for loop runs, it’s incremented by 1. So, the new value would be 1. And when it occurs the second time, it will again be incremented by 1, and the new value would be two.

If you still have doubt, feel free to ask, will be happy to help.
