What is "Sample_Size" in the "Guided Project: Visualizing Earnings Based On College Majors"

I just want to understand what the "Sample_Size field in the data means.

Fivethirtyeight provided the data we use in that mission, and you can find it here: https://github.com/fivethirtyeight/data/tree/master/college-majors.

The data dictionary provided defines samples size as Sample size (unweighted) of full-time, year-round ONLY (used for earnings). They also link to the original source of their data (it’s a survey) so you could dig in deeper should you wish.

Can we draw a conclusion that sample size does not affect the analysis.
